I long to touch a thousand hearts
To make a smile for every drop of rain
To bring out laughter a thousand miles away
I just want to help you ease the pain
I have lived a very trying life
But I long to give something back to you
So please dont let me be a memory
Hold me close in everything you do
In a memory I can not survive
How can I touch your heart or your hand
Don't let me be a memory...keep me alive
And I hope my deeds in time you will understand
This world is full of strife and pain
And I will do everything to keep it from you
Even if I have to take it all within me
I will always do all that I can do
