Dream
While lying on the bed
I look at the
Glass window
Dew drop gathers
On the grassy field
Squirrels rampant
A branch gets entangled
Tall trees invite me
Come to the forest
Feel the earth
Why do you
Dream so much?
Slow sunlight
Radiant on the hills
A riot of colour
Of hibiscus and gladioli
Unmoved, I notice
The symmetry of leaves
Of minute insects
Of chirping birds
In protest, in passion
I murmur in silence
My dream is covered-
Woven with green grass.
