As each day slowly passes
I make a wish on a star
I sit here in my sorrow
Knowing how far away you are

Is there anyone out there?
Someone to move land and sea
Could you all extend your arms
Help me bring him home to me

Maybe I could build a raft
A construction of heavenly wood
With love to be my sails now
Help me reach him if you could

Maybe my eyes will become the stars
Guiding me now this night
My tears to be an ebony ocean
His soul to be the lighthouse light

So gather all of your faith and hope
Lend me your courage if you could
Shine your hearts upon the waves
Help me reach him if you would

I can't go on another day
Walking by this ebbing tide
I will go sailing now to him
On a boat named love and pride
