So Far Away
You were every step behind me
but all I ended up doing was crying
and the lights faded into gray
reaching back for your touch
oh so far away
everywhere I look I see your face
the world just won't let me forget
my mind you know won't erase
but the choice wasn't mine
but then again it wasn't yours either
the carefree days are gone
only my memory and videos bring you to life
you could do no wrong in my eyes
I will always be your protector
your legacy lives on through me
I hope one day I make you proud
but maybe I already have....
