Ren's Pen
Last Breath
Only minutes one's existance can last
Before you know it, the moment is lost
If this were your last final day
What would you take time to say
Would you try to reach a mountain peak
Or for your first love, would you seek
What if today is all that you had
Would it make you sorrowful or sad
How would you spend you final hour
Would you take time to smell a flower
Before your body becomes a dung
What would roll off you tongue
What would be going through your soul
Before you lie there dead and cold
What would be your inner most thought
Did you achieve all that you sought
Would you only remember the past's pain
The times you almost went insane
Would you know where to begin, to start
Would you ask Jesus in your heart
Before you know it, the moment is lost
If this were your last final day
What would you take time to say
Would you try to reach a mountain peak
Or for your first love, would you seek
What if today is all that you had
Would it make you sorrowful or sad
How would you spend you final hour
Would you take time to smell a flower
Before your body becomes a dung
What would roll off you tongue
What would be going through your soul
Before you lie there dead and cold
What would be your inner most thought
Did you achieve all that you sought
Would you only remember the past's pain
The times you almost went insane
Would you know where to begin, to start
Would you ask Jesus in your heart
