SECRET OF THE GRAVEThe cemetery lay, with death and decay, and hid the secrets it kept. And she wandered there, in utter despair, for wasted years, she wept. No one knew the sadness gone through, of trust, shattered and broken. Of loveless years, sorrow and tears, for it was never spoken. She took great care, to place flowers there. and continue the charade. But time took it's toll, met it's goal, and there too she was laid. And the epitaph said, prophetically read, Together forever we'll be. And now they reside, side by side, souls lost in eternity. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
