Into a friendship so good and true, And that special love we find. We all have an abundance of love in our hearts, And we share that love about, But the special love of true friends... Is a great love, there is no doubt. We all need a special friend to lean on, A person good and true... Someone who cares and understands, And that lovely friend is you! You have been there since we first met, Through every tribulation and trial, And always, always, always... With love so sweet - and a smile! Friends are to me like gold dust, As precious as precious can be, And if there was a choice between them both, Then it's your friendship that's important to me! You know how I tick and know my pain, And support me in all I do, So here it is, special thanks, Especially from me...to you! You say I give you strength and inspiration, Well I have no idea why that's so, But if I do, then I am pleased, For it means my friendship is all on show.
