ANGST
An ague of the heart, torn apart,
by never realized expectations.
Aspersion rampant, a hierophant,
decided all compensations.
Life's great mystery, mankind's history,
abecedarian thoughts unraveled.
Searching for truth, lost youth,
on a road, rough and graveled.
Pre-conceived, lessons aggrieved,
scribed in an abyss of stars.
future forecast, cogniznace bypassed,
conjured preordained hope and scars.
If life is fated, deftly kept sedated,
in esoteric knowledge bereft.
Does the phyche abide, the novice inside,
become initiated after death ?
