Death Of Beauty

Flowers are beauty
In their softest of bloom
But winter's breath chills them
And they go so soon

Stars in the sky are beauty
Make a wish on them today
For their joy lasts but so long
And then they fade away

A heart beating is beauty
Feel it with its velvety touch
But even a heart can sit dying
When it is hurting so much

SO why do we kill beauty
Why end a love of this kind?
Is it the scars that haunt us?
Or is it the doubt placed in our mind?

So what we do now?
Which way is right?
Do you choose to leave?
Or do you still fight?

Beauty is bleeding
But it is still there
And if you pick up the pieces
You might want to do it with care
