Ren's Pen

Drunkardness

I rasied you to never take a drink,
No matter what others may think,
I taught you to be clean and sober,
Because I know it is deadly as a cobra.

After not hearing from you in awhile,
Last night you decided to call,
You said you were having fun,
Doing what you want to on the run.

Your marriage is ending in divorce,
Your seeing another with no remorse,
I could hear the party in the back ground,
My heart broke with every sound.

You told me you were a Christian,
You think you don't need a captian,
I signed and thought of days to come,
Because drunkards cannot enter God's kingdom.
