Look around and what do you see,
Is it more than you can believe,
I see my life my children my wife,
And think to my self how nice.
One man adrift in this world,
But not alone there here as well,
A family who cares who I am,
Who show it when ever they can.
Friends to turn to when in need,
It’s a value to treasure indeed,
Yet as I sit and pen to paper I put,
I still feel guilt as I turn and look.
For I know out there miles away,
Are people left with no one today,
Disaster it struck with out remorse,
A nation is left to struggle after it’s force.
So with guilt, and with love,
A family and a home, a life,
Give thought to those with nothing,
And say how lucky I am.
