Off to the doctor I must go,
I’m not very well and I don’t really know,
What’s going on inside my head,
The pain won’t go and I wish I were dead.
I’ve only been here for a minute or two,
And there’s coughing and spluttering,
Old people with flu,
Children are crying with tummy ache too.
I sit here and sit here and twiddle my thumbs,
Watching and waiting for the doctor to come,
The pain in my head is beginning to ease,
And the people around me seem of greater need.
So if you’re not feeling well, go off to the doc,
Then once you get there you’re feel better a lot,
For when people around you splutter about,
All you want to do, is get the hell out.
