Like the coals on a fire glowing so bright,
Slowly burning out in the darkness of night,
Like the fields on fire when farmers burn crops,
The smoldering house with a smoky burnt loft.
With feelings all torn and twisted apart,
Recall the memories deep in the heart,
To suffer again these pains that run deep,
In rivers of blood from my head to my feet.
Yet not long ago a flame burning bright,
A passion so strong and ever so tight,
Bonded like glue beyond all compare,
Together as one, with every thing shared.
They talk you away and shattered my dreams,
To a place fare beyond were no one has seen,
My memories stay and will always be true,
