Listen for the tell tale sounds, Search your heart and soul, Defend, don't turn away… Rescue is the goal… Listen to the children… Crying in the night, Huddled up and shaking… In fear and in fright! Listen to your heart… Hear the voices in your head, Intervene and help them, Save another child in dread! Listen to their anguish, And to their tears and pain, Hear their pitiful pleas… Turn to your heart once again! Listen for that cry in the night! See their bodies bruised, Please, don't let this be ignored, Prevent them being abused! Listen to their sobs! Listen to their cries, Listen to your heart… Before another child dies!
