Strong Medicine (Acrostic) #44
S trange, but I fear treatments just won't last T aking my life backward to who I was in the past: R omping around with sin, heartache, and despair, O nly thinking of myself for no one else is there... N one to be accountable for the wrongs in my life, G one forever are my dreams, children, and my wife. M any nights I'll anguish sad and all alone, E ven hoping someone might call me on the phone. D ead in my trespasses, I'll reach for a friend... I only find the bottle brings me lower in the end. C an you hear me Jesus? I'm a sinner saved by grace! I need to feel your touch and I want to see your face... N ever have You left me since I first believed E nding all my worries by Your medicine received. -Lighthouse Bob |
