Poems of Lighthouse Bob

Spirit Rain #46

Sometimes on our journey in life our rivers will run dry
But when we look above we'll see an abundance of sky
Fullness of splendor demonstrated in brilliance of hues
Painted on desert nightfall in auburns mixed with blues

Sometimes we can fail to notice as waters form above
Because difficult circumstances can starve out our love
We can get focused on the earth as heaven grows dim
When we deny the ocean of blessings that flow in Him

Sometimes far away separate from the chaotic crowds
Vapors of intercessory prayer assemble like the clouds
Showers of prosperity start to ease our souls from grief
Then God's Spirit like the rain floods out all our unbelief
