Mr Robins had a lovely daughter,
She’s the only girl I thought for me,
Then one day I found her at the alter,
She had married god and forgot me.
Mr Robins daughter was an angle,
She lived out on my council estate,
Then one day she moved away I lost her,
Think I might of made a big mistake.
Mr Robins really should have told me,
That his daughter was not only mine,
She had turned her head around to Jesus,
Now the convents were she spends her time.
Mr Robins you should be so happy,
Your daughter never married me her mate,
She’d be home and changing nappies,
I’d be coming home from working late.
Mr Robins it turn out for better,
Your daughter number two just turn out fine,
And if you ever like to come and see her,
You’ll better ask cause this ones mine.
