TRICKY WIND
Who’s that knocking at my door,
The knocking sound I’ve heard before,
Three gentle taps then no more,
Who is that knocking at my door.
Across the room I pave my way,
Could it be a friend I say,
Maybe the milkman for his pay,
Who is that knocking at my door.
At the door arms straight out,
Key turn the lock and then look out,
There’s no one there I haste to say,
The wind is playing tricks again.
