FORGOTTEN WORDS
Words of late but spoken true,
That refers to you, and me
Lover’s words do they come true,
Do they last what do they mean.
Or are love’s words a fantasy.
A dream made from reality,
When embracing days are far behind,
And day-to-day just passes by.

Are words forgotten or do they linger,
In our minds do we remember?
The spoken words of years gone past,
And tender feelings meant to last.
It’s easy to forget the words,
Of spoken love once new,
But hidden deep inside remain,
The love that is so true..
Words are just expressions,
Feelings of the time,
An unseen farce not meant to last,
But love’s still yours and mine..
