VALENTINES DAY ?Emotional part, better known as heart, hiding our emotional dreams. Deftly hidden, tied up with ribbon, a scenario of hopes and schemes. A February day, brings into play, a tempest of immense anticipation. Hearts all around, but none found, in this discouraging expectation. No Valentine card ,no poetic bard, has decided to write me a verse. With hearts and a dove, undying love, even written in terms terse. So the day goes by, wish he would lie, and say things he really don't mean. Then I would smirk and say “you jerk”, thanks for nothing ,your hearts in your spleen. But then again, it would really begin, this day in rose colored glasses. If there were a lover, to help me discover, why valentines day gives me rashes. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
