The Dance

To be held in your arms for a brief moment,
made me wish the world stop turning.
In your arms I was in another world.
In this world it was just you and me alone
dancing the night away.
How I would have love to have that dance never ending.
To dance the world away, what a joy.
I keep dreaming of the day we are together again.
So we can dance the night away.

When I stop to smell the roses,
I think of how comfortable I had been in your arms.
How innocent you looked and how innocent I felt.
I feel your sweet embrace everytime I close my eyes.
Your smile floats in my mind's eye.
The dance is always with me.
