Asleep am I, or was I awakened?
as the door slowly opened,
a misty white cloud began to shape,
sailing over my motionless torso.

A sense of phobia seized over me,
for I knew not of this vision I see,
my eyes tightly opened wide,
to a sight yet to be determined.

Slowly voyaging in a circle,
my eyes following the trail,
as the apparition started forming,
grope of horror was lifted out of me.

Given the chance to truly perceive,
what this celestial vision must of been,
a divine angel has come to visit me,
a lost soul targeting its benevolence.

Relaxed and temperate now I feel,
as an angelic smile reflected upon me,
how blessed am I for this glorious force,
entering what was once an empty nest.

There was no need for spoken words,
for our souls touched comprehension,
a move swaying much to my delight,
for we saw each other in no need of light.

Touching the floor where my bed lay,
as if to tell me with no dismay,
I now must go and be on my way.
A Divine Soul I retained that day.
