For the first time in my life
I think of running barefoot in the rain
I draw hearts onto this frosted glass
Sighing with my hands on the window pane
I sit and smile for hours on end
As sunshine dances upon my face
And I stay up for hours again
Until the moon is merely a trace
I walk but my feet don't touch the ground
My soul feels like its floating on air
I hear the waves crash upon the shore
But right now I honestly could not care
Forget the sands and every blade of grass
Forget the moon thats up in the sky
Forget the clouds as they're floating past
I just see this twinkle that's in my eye
