The Phoenix… Like the phoenix that rises from the ashes, So too I did rise… And moved onward into the light, And float right into the skies! Sitting on a cotton wool cloud, I am surveyor of all that I see… Risen like the phoenix… I am all that I will be! The strength and determination, Within this body true… Is all I needed – and my own words I heed! To make my life good as I should do! I said that I will never change… For to let anyone change my ways… Is the wrong thing to do, it won't do! I am this way for all of my days! Like the phoenix that rose from the ashes, I did the same thing this day! And higher and higher I will spiral, No matter in life comes my way! I am the phoenix!
