Distorted mirrors of the mind,
Not sure of what's the truth or lie…
Fighting our way through life,
Not knowing the reason why!
Distorted feelings inside our head,
Feelings we know not for why,
All we know is sometimes,
Feelings and things cause us to cry.
Distorted visions in the mind,
Paint pictures we don't want to see,
Memories keep coming back,
Memories we'd rather not see.
Distorted mirrors of life,
Reflecting things so bad…
Bringing about a pain so deep,
And heartache oh, so bad!
Distorted mirrors of life,
Of love and hate and stuff,
Of good and bad, happy and sad,
And things to deal with so very rough!
Distorted mirrors what do we see?
Do we see everything in back and white?
Or will we forever look through the glass…
Of distorted mirrors…unclear like the dark of night!
