Through The Eyes Of A Poet...

He's A Cheeky Little Blighter!!!

He may be 6ft three,
But be certain of one thing,
I can smack him round the chops,
And make his ears ring!
He is as cocky as they come,
And a smart alec is he!
But mark my words and knock me flat!
He's real careful when with me!

He's always messing with his PC,
But he hasn't got a clue!
His mate Mark is better than him!
Though he's computer illiterate too!
They haven't got the first clue!
How to navigate his PC…
Dave's always getting a mood on,
(I think its cos he's getting as old as me)!

So I tried to sort his cookies out,
Well, me and Mark if the truth be known,
Cos Dave just threw a wobbler,
And shouted, ‘I'm going home!'
Patience is not his second name,
Nor his first - that's true!
Cos when anything goes wrong!
The air is black and blue!

Now me and Mark sorted the computer out,
While Dave just stood and complained!
And when I told him he'll be in the papers,
He went nuts cos he's being named!
We sorted out his explorer,
And altered the configuration…
Blimey, at this rate…
Marks gona be head of the nation!

But Dave got a mood on once again,
Cos he wanted to eat his food!
Pizza, yuck, how awful!
And he blasphemed cos he's so rude!
So when he gets back home to me,
I'm gona rap him round the ear!
And trust me, he knows me well,
(Cos he's always, always in fear)!

I told him he's being named in the papers,
And golly wow, oh woe is me!
‘What did you do that for mum?'
He shouted down the phone to me!
Well, I told him that's because…
He is his mother's son…!
And anyway, I can do what I like!
After all, I am his mum!!!

Now I have to be quite honest though,
He's really a gem you see!
After all, when said and done…!
He must take after me!!

P.S.

Now I should have mentioned…
About Dave's little, problem, (oh dear)!
So I think he'd better watch it…!
Or I just might make it clear!!!!

He may be over six foot tall,
And I may only be five foot small!

But...

He's 'Still' Mummy's Little Soldier!
