Turmoil…

Have you ever been in so much turmoil?
That nothing at all seems right,
And the turmoil causes heartache,
And makes happiness so out of sight!

Have you ever been in so much turmoil?
That each morning and each night,
Your thoughts are of that person,
And you can't rid them try as you might!

Have you ever been in so much turmoil?
That your heart is heavy with pain,
So much so, you wonder if…
You'll ever be whole once again!

Have you ever been in so much turmoil?
Where everything's so surreal,
Nothing seems true you don't know what to do,
And you don't know what you feel!

Have you ever been in so much turmoil?
That it's totally messed your head!
And the feeling is so desolate,
Your heart feels totally dead!

I was, but not any longer,
For I've finally emerged from the pain,
Lost the hurt, lost the past,
And started over once again!

If We Really Want To...We Can!
