Darkness surrounds me
like a warm hand
Darkness gives me the courage
to carry on..
writing this poem
Darkness is something else
Sometimes light as a snowflake
Sometimes thick as a brick wall
But darkness is always there
When I need someone to talk to
Someone to share my dreams
So let the darkness be
Be there for me
