DAYS END
Another day done time to unwind,
Leave the work of this day behind,
Site in chair with legs out stretched,
Turn on the television what the heck.
Watch the news in the world today,
Find out what they have to say,
Have a coffee taste so divine,
Cuddle the kids you have the time.
Dinner served time for some yum,
The evening now has just begun,
Kids now screaming in you’re head,
It’s time for them to go to bed.
In the bathroom of they go,
Brush their teeth and wash you now,
It’s not that easy they misbehave,
You feel like you’re at work again.
Then quiet falls they are asleep,
Now it’s time to get some peace,
To curl up with the wife so dear,
Prim time that is yours to share.
But all to quick the time has gone,
It’s time for bed for dad and mum,
The sleep they need both worn out,
Tomorrow brings the same no doubt.
