I Just Want To Know
Does it feel warm and fuzzy?
is there butterflies in your stomach?
do you palms get all sweaty?
do you blink twice because you can't believe what you see?
does your heart miss a beat?
do you stutter for the right words?
do you trip over your own self?
because maybe I am that clumsy
do you do stupid things like repeat yourself
or talk endlessly to avoid awkward silences?
do you call and go chicken and just hang up
when you hear that person's voice?
do you get lost in their voice and have to snap
back to reality?
do you feel as that person touches you electricity?
I just want to know
because that's exactly how I feel about you
all these things I do or experience is only
because I want your attention
the question is, is it working??
do you feel the same way??
