Wanting To Run…Wanting to run, needing to hide, There's a hole in my heart and its gaping wide! Don't know what to do, got nowhere to go, Got to hide my hurt, can't let it on show! Want to go to bed and sleep a sleep, Oblivious to all, fall into a slumber so deep. Need to rid the thoughts inside my head, Wanting to live, don't want to be dead! What can I do? My backs against a wall! Is the time here for me to get my final call? I don't want to fight for this week ahead I now face, I just want to sleep, and my fear so chase. Can't run and hide, I've got nowhere to go, Trying to be so brave, but my tears are all on show! My heart is breaking, my head is sore, Can't fight this fight, can't take any more! I need a rest, and I need some peace, I need this body to rid the pain and cease… …Cease the turmoil and fears I'm in… Get me through, and help me to win! Another day, another trail it seems… It's all I can do to repress my screams! I'm not strong today in fact I'm a mess, But with my smile in place, you'd never guess! I can't keep pretending all is fine and well… Because right now, I'm living in hell! Another fight, another trial to overcome, But I have to be honest, my fight has all gone. I want to scream and shout and rant! But all I reiterate to God, is… ‘help me I chant!' But will He listen? Will he hear my cry…? 'Oh dear God help me, please don't let me die!'
