 Brian's Poetic Verses

A Red Winged Black Bird.

Copyright @ 2003 Lark Douglas-Brian D. Roberts

Oh My, Can I Spy A Bird Upon A Branch Upon The River's Side? Taking In The Scenery As The Month Of May! What Could he Be Thinking With A Brain As Small As This? Could the Forest All About him Hold Mysteries In Its Midst? Or Is It Just The Beauty Of A Pleasant Summer's Day; Where This Little Birdie Would Simply Sit To Sunbathe? No Matter What The Reason, Or Why he Just Perched There. The Truth Is All Too Clear. A Bird Has The Freedom To Do As They Just Wish. The Simple Exquisiteness Of A Bird Is Found Within Their Right To Flight, and the Touching Of Their Colors Against The Heavens As They Soar! Treasured Myths Upon The Sky; Colored Delights Unto Our Sight! In A Moment's Delight Through Day Or Night! A Bird Is Just A Sight. With Just That Touch Of Elegance Upon This Earth Once More For All To Explore!
