Once Upon A Time
So I see the words written...Once upon a time
A perfect beginning to a story book rhyme
Fantasies played out... right in front of me
I am held there captivated as I slowly read
I think I'd also like to write a book
So all could come to take a look
I'd start it out once upon a time....
The fairytale story inside would be mine
It isn't just fiction to have a dream come true
I have a happy ending myself, yes I do
You see everyone, my Prince too did come
But my story doesn't end...it has just begun
There's more to the story and soon you will see
The happily ever after doesn't stop with a dream
Each day is a new chapter...scribed in my heart
And I cherish each page right from the very start
