I found it with
the man behind the counter
at Bob Evan's and wanted
to shout "STOP Thief!"
and when I told you,
you said it must have
escaped for a moment,
wanted to come see me,
that vagabond laugh
of yours...running
away like a child
to the candy counter
and bouncing on the
gypsy night air, the
closest moonbeam~
your laughter
is contagious.
I caught it and
it left me
with enough smiles
to last me the
rest of the evening.
