I'm so content,
Even-breathing,
Mind a whirr,
Eyes darting to and fro.
In this silent hallway
I find a peace
That everyone else neglects.
Silence jumping
From ear to ear,
And my mind will now rest.
My eyes will close slowly.
Mind stops,
Normal breathing,
Escaping this realm
To a funereal realm
And I'm not sure
If anything has a point.
Am I asleep?
Dead?
Comatose?
I panic for I don't know
If I am among the living
Or the dead.
