Shine
The lights are coming on
wave to the crowd it's your time to shine
it's your brief moment in the sun
it's everything you ever wanted captured in this short period of time
it's your dreams as their unfolding
it's your love growing into something more
it's your success tasting so sweet
just hold this and remember this because nothing last forever
whoever told you that was living in their own fantasy land
great moments are fleeting and don't come often
but when your time arrives
I want you to do one thing for me shine.
