Love Is The Lantern...1986

Brother, play for me*
On your six-string*
Make that old guitar cry*
Make it sing*

Make it tell the story*
Of growing up fast*
Of brothers and sisters*
And love in the past*

One mama, three children*
Holding on tight*
Sneaking away*
In the chill of the night*

Trying to survive*
In a nightmare,are world*
One mama, one boy-child*
And two little girls*

Growing up is never easy*
They say*
Unless you have love*
To help light your way*

Love is the lantern*
By which we can see*
May it always guide you*
And your family...
