Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Come out of your hiding
Everyone has advanced ahead of me in life,
I lag on in the background,
Trying to compete with people who
Are far more advanced than I.
Still, I've always been one to try,
But I've also been one to fail,
And fail I have; it's the failing
That seems to always find me no
Matter where I try to hide.
This world is transparent when it
Comes to hiding me from my worst fears.
they find me hiding in the deepest,
Darkest corners of my mind.
They come for me, I'll let them take me,
What's the point in forever hiding?
It only delays the inevitable.
