Like The Ripples On The Water.Like the ripples on the water, And on the sands of time, I want ill winds to let me be, And for once let peace be mine. My life is like a time bomb, Tic, tick, ticking away… I need release, I need peace, I need a resolve this day! As I watched the ripples on the water, I felt a calmness come over me, And as I gazed across the water, My fears were lost in ebb of the sea. I love the feeling of peace… But when the tide comes in again, So too do my fears… My heartache and my pain! Gazing out on the sea of time, I feel no dread…no fear, And every day that I awake, Brings me one day nearer! And on that day, that special day…!
