And so we bond.

A chance to redo.
we are so caught up
in our lives rushing us forward,
leaving us little time to savor
all that we encounter,
and long to embrace,
as time pulls us ever onward
but to have the chance
to recapture any moment that matters
and live it the way
we wish we should have
would be sheer bliss,
yet alas even now
my fingers conclude this poem
and I too move on
