Thirty Years
I fought to keep you inside me
To nurture into birth.
Then came the magic moment
You arrived on earth.
Dark curly hair, skin made of pearl
Your eyes a bonny blue
From that day on and all your life
I`ve found joy in you.
Now at the end of your twenties
With children of your own
In all the pain you suffered
You were never alone.
Whatever you do I feel what you feel
Of you I am a big part.
Whoever you are or may become
You`re living within my heart.
