On this day as I sit in deliberation,
My life pass bye distorted in time,
I look back trying to remember,
Placing my memories like a jigsaw.
Chuckle here and there remembrance,
Friends gone bye no longer seen,
This life of mine seems just a dream,
For what has passed gone and been.
What if maybes close my eyes,
Picture the scene moment in time,
For a second I’m there reliving refined,
Back in my childhood the sun always shined.
Secure with no worries parents protect,
Times in my memories I’ll never forget,
Then to the future as I grow to get old,
The ups with the downs stories been told.
Recollection of good, some times of sad,
Even the times that once made me mad,
Yet here as I sit whilst I deliberate,
My life’s in the hands of fortune and fait.
Who knows what’s in store from one day to next,
Each day that we live could be the worst or the best,
Take every moment and treasure its being,
Be happy in memories when you look back and dream.
