You carried our sins, you gave your life

Beaten.. Smitten..
You were scorned.
Placed upon you,
a crown of thorns.

You gave your all,
among the strife.
For the forgiveness of sins,
you gave your life.

You carried our sins,
upon the cross.
so we can be cleansed,
you remove all the dross.

When we choose to believe,
when we open our heart.
Your gift of life,
will never part.
