That Day On The Cross
That day on the cross, I died and rose again for you
Every stripe was for your healing, all the marks, black and blue
I came
that you may
have
reconciliation
and
communication
with Me
I came
to show you
My love
and to
set every
captive free.
I came
to show you
a newness in life
I came
to dispel
all the darkness
and strife
The wounds
I received was
a result of my great
love for
all man kind
I did
this for you that you could receive new life and would find
That Father God
in heaven
made all
that is precious on
all the earth
I came
that you could
experience
in this
lifetime
the new rebirth
I willingly
laid down
my life
for you
Nothing
in heaven
or earth had
power to thwart
this too
God called
Me
for such
a time as this
In order
you could come
to Us
and your blessing
not to miss
I love
you
so much
I
spread my arms
out wide
In order
that this world
would be set
on a
different tide
No
matter
what you
have done in
your life come
to Me
I long
to hold you
and love you and show you,
you are free
No need
to feel
any guilt
I paid all
the price
My death
on that cross
did it all that
would suffice
My last breathe, before my Spirit went back to our Father God
I looked
in your eyes,
two thousand years
ahead, so that you would
not have to face
Ichabod.
I love you
my precious one,
I know
your hurts run
deep
Allow me
to
show you
my scars,
I did
this
for you,
your soul
and spirit
I will keep.
I love you,
Jesus
Christ
