 Penniluck's legacy

Have We The Right.

These feelings are my own, I do not judge others, and I do know that in some cases abortion is necessary for varying reasons. So I do hope no-one will take offence.

Have we the right to take a life God gave
Do we hold then that life should be so cheap.
Have we the right to put a baby in its grave
Then not even have the courtesy to weep.

Have we the right to say it cannot feel
Just because its eyes cannot yet see
Have we the right to say it isn`t real
Because it`s hidden by the womb of you or me.

Have we the right to take a child of love
Say it`s over, out you go, I`ve had my fun.
Have we the right God given from above
To stop a child from living in the sun.

Have we the right to say our conscience clean
It is better that this unborn child should die.
Have we the right to say its life has never been
For if we have, then all life must be a lie.
