There Are Days so dark!There are days so dark… That one can't see… The real you…The real me. The sun went in and said goodnight, And stayed there for a while, Left me in the darkness… And sadly I lost my smile. I lost myself along the way, Trying to deal with life, Pain and suffering and heartache, Left me filled with strife! But though the days were dark and lonely, They didn't stay that way for long, For the sun will always shine again, And shine bright like a rainbow song. And though the days were dark and lonely, And there was a chill around my heart, One day out came the sun so bright, And lit up my heart like a spark! The dark days have past and gone, And therein lay a life anew, Love and wonderment and blessings, And they are there for me and you. We all have dark and lonely days, But the trick is this, you see… Never have self pity and negativity, But rather stay strong and focused like me.
