Starlight within our dreams
tornadoes in the nightmares of life,
Golden sunshine to light our path
within the greed we strive to fight
A morning with no tomorrows
and yesterday without a now
Brings a kind of desperation
of where we are to go and how
Bright moments fade in twilight
with the colors blue and green
To walk a path of everyday
in mostly mundane means
We pick the jewels of tomorrow
to wear upon our soul
Showing us where the sunshine hides
for when we grow tried or old
A melody plays within our soul
to keep forever young
The rainbows of the world glide by
while our life is filled with fun
For beauty can dwell most anywhere
all we have to do is see
To find the path with butterflies
that leads us to the sea
And count the waves that roll on by
that kiss the lonely sand
To dig your toes into the shore
and be as one with Man.
