…Self Love…Why is it, as people we can't be happy, Just the way we are inside and out… Rather we should be liking ourselves, Tell me, why do we live with such doubt? We have pet hates about ourselves, And torment ourselves every day! Over the way we look, on how we feel… When we think we are not okay! We pick out our supposedly problems, And tell ourselves that we look bad, We don't like this, we don't like that, And it makes us so very sad! It seems to me we want the perfect everything, And we are not happy with our lot! But all in all, I have to say… We should accept that this is what we've got! We are what we are, and we look as we do, Because God made us this way…! So we shouldn't moan and shouldn't grumble, Rather - we should be happy every day! For at the end of the day, we're alive, And no matter the problems we bear, We should always, always be thankful, That we are even here! Rather be here as we are… Than not be here at all…like some! And once we can accept that… Then that's the day we've won! Self love, or egotistical, One way or another it will seem… That we put ourselves through such pain… Because we are not what we dream!
