Red blush the cheeks of innocent maid,
Fooled by young man his compliments paid.

He vowed forever his heart would be,
Eternally burning with desire, for she!

Foolish maid did believe every word,
Thinking he really and truly cared.

For she could never in a million years,
Ever have seen the heartbreak and tears!

Caused by him when his passion died,
For the fire of youth is often in vain!

Age sets in they seek a second life,
Not wanting their internal fires to wane.

So the eyes of men it is sad to say,
Are often set to wandering astray…

A pretty face, a shapely leg,
His love to each he would declare, plead and beg.

That you return his passion too,
That this love of yours is precious and new!

So hard it is to keep the love of the young,
Because love is a word too often sung.

So hold onto your heart, don't let go of your dreams,
