wordrider's world

I AM HERE

I STARTED OUT A UNTHOUGHT OF THOUGHT, THEN SOMEONE'S EYE, I CAUGHT.
THEN A TWINKLE, IN THAT EYE I BECAME,
NOW, NO ONE'S LIFE WOULD BE THE SAME.

YES, AN EGG I STARTED OUT,
OH, HOW SHE BEGIN TO CRY, TO SHOUT.
OH, SHE BEAMED WITH JOY,
NOT, CARING IF I WAS A BOY?

YES, SHE KNEW I COULD BE A GIRL,
EITHER WAY I WAS NOW HER WORLD,
OR AT LEAST A BIG PART NOW: ALWAYS, IN HER HEART.

MONTH AFTER MONTH, MY HOME WAS INSIDE,
THEN WHEN IT CAME TIME, I GOT TO GO OUTSIDE.
OH, WHAT A SIGHT WAITING ON ME,
THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE LIGHT WOULDN'T LET ME SEE.

THEN, MINUTE, BY MINUTE, I GREW,
EACH DAY, I WOULD SEE SOMETHING NEW.
NOW, YOU KNOW EACH AND EVERY DAY,
I AM GLAD, I LOVE YOU I GET TO SAY.

MOMMY, PEOPLE WANTED TO LET ME DIE, NO, NO OVER AND OVER YOU DID CRY.
THAT IS WHY I AM HERE, ALL: YOUR LOVE, TO SHARE.
